Many people find that as well as the commercial Python books on offer, the following resource aggregators are very good for learning Python: http://showmedo.com/videos/python (39 videos) http://effbot.org/pyfaq/ Python FAQs http://www.awaretek.com/tutorials.html (links to 300+ tutorials) http://www.python.org/doc/ (Official doc site) The language also helps document itself with extensive use of docstrings, and pydoc.
I find the newsgroup complang.python to be avaluable source of help and ideas too.
If you find the time, please try Python again.
